I am now retired since age 64 after a career in commerical banking.
Judy and I have been married for 46 years and enjoy our lives within our retirement life style which includes 4 generations living in our home we built for retirement on 30 acres and 2200 feet of river front on the Stilly in Arlington.
The joint family living allows us many travel options and we enjoy our grandchildren even more with daily access.
We do stay in contact with many of our friends from high school and always enjoy remembering past times as well as making new ones.
Most important is the good health we have.
Looking forward to reconnecting with classmates in August.

Gary Minor
Gary wrote a nice message to the class through Tom Wells.  I was to enter into this spot, but in my "organizational" zeal with the sale of our home, I have temporarily misplaced Gary's letter.  I know he talked about moving to California for I believe the last two years of high school.  He returned and has lived in Mount Vernon for the last number of years.
10 years ago, Gary participated in an event in which he rode around the world on a bicycle.
They are having their 10 years reunion this weekend, and Gary has chosen to join them, although he sends his greetings to all of us.
I'll post his actual letter (hopefully) when I lay my hands on it.
We do not have an email for Gary.

Hello after 50 years-I've had an interesting and " down to earth" good life! Five years of college, B.A/Education and Economics. Taught school in Brisbane, Queensland, this fabulous tour included, "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" I came home the long way- saw relatives in Norway. I then Served my Country for two years in the US Army stationed in Germany. Once  back home, my brother Don and I formed a partnership in 1977 ,  "MOE BROTHERS DAIRY", also crop farming. Our partnership included "Dairy Family of the Year of 1986'. I was also a Substitute Teacher in the Skagit Valley School District for 20 years.  My wife, Jan and I have been  married 34 years, and have 3 children, and two grandkids. In 2007, I retired from dairy farming  , we are now leasing out our dairy farm, but I still do tractor field work, and truck driving. In winter we RV it to Arizona. My hobbies include, Motorcycling, Golfing, and singing Karaoke.
It will be great to see all of you again.

It's going to be so much fun to relive our days at MVHS, renew friendships...old and new; and just get caught up with memories and happenings over the past 50 years!!  Good grief!!  My special thank you to the organizing committee for their dedication, persistence, and hard work to put this reunion and the website together with all the necessary details for all of us to make this "1965 class alive" reunion a success!

We were so lucky to be apart of MVHS!   For me, it provided a foundation for future endeavors and adventures.   I graduated from Skagit Valley College and WWU as an undergraduate and Univ. of Oregon for graduate studies.  Professional work as a Speech/Language Pathologist included a year and half in Wenatchee, 5 years in Europe with DODDS, 3 years in British Columbia, and 25 years with the Bellevue School District.  The last 10 years were devoted to working in a developmental preschool setting designing communication systems for mostly nonverbal children, as well as, other communication disorders.   Upon retirement, my husband Stan of 34 years and I love spending time with our two daughters and their activities (no grandchildren yet!); our home in Kingston which includes lots of boating, crabbing, fishing, and golf just minutes away, as well as, ttrael.  We don't miss the traffic and population on the "other side" but look forward to coming to see all of you at our 50th reunion!!
